Patience
The pictures above are good enough for now. Tomorrow I'll look at them again with fresh eyes, in different light. Tomorrow I'll look at them differently.
A little about the process, my learning curve, and zero patience...ZERO!
I'm having difficulty learning patience. Honestly, I want it now. tee hee. I thought working with acrylic paint would allow me to work more quickly, which it does. Problem is I get to a point in layering when a time-out is required. That moment when an additional application will undo all the previous work, that is when I get impatient and try to fix it but it really needs time to dry and then
the bottom right hand corner (above) is suddenly all wrong. I really should have waited for the mistake to dry. I have tried working on a couple of paintings at the same time which I'm doing today but my frustration level has grown and what little patience I had is now gone. Ugh. Laundry and other chores need to be done anyway. Time Out!
The other painting I'm working on today.NOTE TO SELF: This is supposed to be fun.
When you start getting impatient and frustrated, then the fun disappears.
Step away. Come back later.
