Revisiting an old photo
My abstract photography appearing as an abstract painting. A wabi sabi photo from several years ago. A close up of faded paint on metal, time weathered to create an abstraction of the sun peeking through the haze and fog of early morning. A scene perhaps obstructed by buildings, viewed through a window pane, dew clinging to the glass. Discovering these landscapes in miniature gives one the sense of first exploration, straying upon a scene unseen by anyone before. Yet it's the grasp of the familiar that makes the photographer interpret the image. Beauty (& art) truly is in the eye of the beholder. And every person is left to interpret the result and its impact upon the viewer.
