Still Life with Pottery

Here it is a day later and I have a sense of growing frustration. The criticism I requested went sideways. Sideways as in I meant coconuts and the other person was talking about the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow. I was looking for a dated feel, more painting than photo.
Went at the still life in a new way today. No inspired art excursion but a tedious practice on a hot summer day. Striving to meet someone else's ideal, I lost all interest in creating art as art, for pleasure. It became a chore.
Here is where I ended up. Technically better, but completely without feeling.
