ICU update: Posted on Day 14

DAY 13, late yesterday: Update about my sister who is in ICU on a ventilator due to being unvaccinated against Covid. 

"Today was a better day. We finally got to visit Stephanie. Her color is good and vitals are steady. We set up her phone to play some of her favorite songs. Spoke to her. Held her hands. And let her listen to messages from friends   Her oxygen was set on 75 when we got there they turned it down to 70 while were there.  As of 9 pm she was still on 70."

70% Oxygen level is the lowest setting since she was placed on a ventilator. (Around 30% is the point of transition.) She wouldn't have been conscious.  I wonder if she is no longer testing positive for Covid and that's why she was allowed visitors. I wonder if the staff are hoping the visit may help. I wonder if my idiot brother-in-law will finally realize how wrong-headed he's been about the vaccine.
