Maximalism meets Kitchenalia

 A $2 mortar and pestle set from my favorite thrift store. A little glue, cleanser, and wood oil and the pestle was just fine. The bowl is a very heavy ceramic with a small lip to ease pouring.

I couldn't resist the contrast of maximalism against traditionalist design. So I set out to create a tablescape of modern color and design to starkly compare to the witchy corner of my kitchen.
