But who's counting?

Absolutely everything in this picture is thrifted or gifted or both as with my gifts to Reed.

Proudly counting down the days until her move, my daughter's things are stacked atop bookshelves temporarily...yet they reveal her artistic eye for selection and display. An eclectic mix, my guess is that the calendar is what her eye rests upon most often and most fondly.

My daughter has been living with us for several months due to a rent rise from 1100$ to 1600$. How's a girl to save for a forever home?! Here's but a few of her things in a corner of her brother's den where she has been glamping out. Despite the months long stay, she and I have embarked on a series of thrifting jaunts hoping to better feather her new nest. The quilt and pillows were gifts from her Grandmother. The tea tin, vase, mug, and candle were gifts from me. The print was a treasure she found.

Departure Day is August 10th! Everyone is so pleased that she'll have a 1 bedroom in Athens.

SEVEN days and counting! And then we begin purging her household of things currently sitting atop our household of things. Woot!

Most of these thrifted treasures Reed found since living with us temporarily.
