Blue and White

Reed and I went into Atlanta yesterday for a girl's day out to celebrate her birthday: shopping, Oriental groceries, a specialty bakery, antiques and thrifts, and an Indian meal. At one of the shops I found a framed and matted, hand colored, wood block print by one of the Japanese masters which I've set aside as an anniversary present. (Pictures later because I've wrapped it for our upcoming anniversary.) At another, I found three pieces of blue and white pottery for under $17 total.

Japanese plate above.
Most likely it is a serving platter.
It will  probably find a place on my wall.

Two Chinese pieces below.
The lidded vase is not food-safe and for display only.

The tiny sugar bowl like piece below is actually a
soup tureen from a children's play set.
