Laying on the layers

New rug at the foot of the bed. The old green rug moved to the side of the bed. An over long linen dust ruffle. A pumpkin color duvet cover. An orange paisley folded at the end of the bed.

Opposite corner of the bed with a throw tossed on the edge. A thin narrow rug alongside the bed. The new rug at the end of the bed.

A reversible fabric of paisley and florals hangs across the brass headboard. Matelassé pillow shams in cream. An embroidered pillow. A bird and floral throw pillow. 

The rug is probably 7x9. It's a Karastan Espalier design. It's power loomed and wool with a thick 1/3 inch pile and fringes at two ends. It was bought in excellent condition at an antiques mall.
