Hellebore and Mint Juleps

I am not a Christian but apparently I know the Bible better than some people who claim to be Christians. I thought it an apt time to post this Biblical reminder.

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

Showing mercy is not showing weakness. To love mercy means an embrace of the concept and acting upon it in your daily life at home and at work. But the admonition is not only love mercy. It is a three part instruction. 

Act Justly.

Love Mercy.

Walk humbly.

I think that President Carter's recent death really reminds us of what we need at this time in history, what we are missing, what we should strive for in our personal lives.

We need to ask ourselves,
