Return of the Jim Crow era

Federal contractors will no longer be explicitly barred from racially segregating their restaurants, waiting rooms and water fountains, according to the Trump administration. A memorandum dated 15 February 2025, issued by the General Services Administration, the procurement arm of the federal government, explicitly dropped those strictures.
