Today's release by The Atlantic about the chat text on the Yemin bombing was set up by one of the most absurd, insane, and poorly thought out responses from any administration outside of British comedy spoofs.
After erroneously including a reporter from The Atlantic in a text chat about bombing Yemini Houthi rebels, the idiots of Trump 2.0 declared that it wasn't a leak because the conversation wasn't classified. The Atlantic realized what a gold mine their reporter had beyond the initial reporting and staged a journalistic scoop the likes of which Pulitzer can't aptly reward. The Atlantic released the transcripts, now listed as UNCLASSIFIED. Interestingly, they held back more than the JFK files release from last week which included Social Security Identifiers. The Atlantic had the good sense to withhold a few details avoiding another Valerie Plame affair cock up Bush, Jr. style.
But this insane act of poor planning, incompetence, and sheer stupidity is but one of so many ignorant acts of this administration's mere 65 days in office. Here's a look of the ones that I recall outright.

Suspended the TikTok ban which was implemented based on security concerns.
Destroyed National Records and refuses to follow the US laws about documenting official acts
Eliminated the mention of men and women, minorities and others from the official records documenting their heroism and bravery because they declared it Woke.
Badly handled the measles outbreaks.
Failed to document, address, and share data regarding the bird flu epidemic with the US and around the world.
Fired VA Suicide hotline operators. Fired VA employees and plans more rolling back of staff at VA hospitals across the US.
Lying, embarrassing, and yelling at Zelensky in the Oval House and siding with Putin and Russia.
Banned and fired people from the military without any cause except what they perceived as Woke activists.
Tariffs, yes. Tariffs, no. Tariffs increase. Tariffs decrease. Tariffs, tariffs, tariffs. Stock market swings.
Signed up to support the Ponzi scheme known as cryptocurrency by requiring a US stockpile of the digital currency.
Cut consulate services around the world.

Is targeting making voting more difficult through real ID and passport requirements and excluding women from voting by requiring a Birth Certificate name match the current ID name. If a married name is used then voting access may be denied.
Stopping government sponsored mRNA research completely.
Halting payments for housing assistance for the disabled and the poor.
Fired IRS workers during tax season. Fired IRS investigators who found fraud and abuse. Plans to fire more IRS workers.
Removed security details for threatened people, some of whom were targeted by Trump's supporters after his online screeds.
Removed security clearance from persons because of Trump's petty grievances.
They are taking away educational monies for disabled children.
Fired Inspectors Generals of numerous departments.
Cancelled Congressionally approved funding for agencies and legal disbursements. Threatened closure of agencies created by Congress. Closed some of those agencies. Created an agency without Congressional approval--just call it doggy.
Received tens of millions of dollars in questionable payments by companies and persons seeking favor with the Administration or seeking to avoid conflict for past perceived wrongs.
Demanded a quid pro quo from Ukraine in the form of mineral resources in exchange for assistance against the Russian invasion of a democratically established government.
Ended protected status for immigrants fleeing persecution, forcing deportation for some already.
Threatened to withhold transit funding over NYC's transit tax.
Threatened to withhold federal emergency funds for the California fires.
Released water from reserves set aside for farmers in California. None of the water was accessible to the LA area for the fires, btw. Why? Basic geography.
Verbally attacked and targeted judges who ruled against the administration.
Gutted the National Labor Relations Board.
Fired members of the Federal Trade Commission.
Dismantled the Consumer Protection Bureau which protected customers from egregious fees and fraud and waste, resulting in billions of dollars reimbursed to consumers though fines, fees, and forced restitution.
Undermined the EPA, rewrote its mandates, and removed environmental protections.
Indicated they would vacate pardons and other laws signed by an auto pen, used by all Presidents except Bush, and used by Trump himself.
Expelled the Ambassador from South Africa and sided with white land owners in SA.
Threatened the independence of the US Postal Service.
Cancelled climate grants aimed at reducing or addressing climate change problems.
Removed the head of the department that protects federal employees and ensures employment and non-discrimination laws are followed.
Put federals buildings up sale only to remove the listings within 48 hours. This included the headquarters of the FBI in DC.
Cut National Parks staff so much that reductions in available hours, including overnight stays, were implemented. National Parks provide income from visitors (upwards of $50 Billion annually) that well exceeds the expenses to maintain these areas.
Fired Firemen and EMTs that work for the National government in National Parks and other locations. This leaves visitors at risk and will reduce the efforts of firefighters in the upcoming fire season.
Fired over 1,000 NOAA employees who study and monitor the weather. Tornado and hurricane season is upon us. They want to fire more.
Mass deportations.
Closed Social security offices including centers where disability hearings to determine eligibility are held. This adds to reduced numbers of staff to field calls and other inquiries. Plans to reduce the ability to access SSA services over the phone.
More mass firings.
Forcing food and consumer goods costs to rise through bad policy, instability in words and deeds, and general chaos and poor messaging. In other words, they appear to be the idiots they are.
Numerous attacks on higher education
Trump administration Pro-Israel anti-Semitism in support of the genocide of Palestinians. Failed cease fire.
Fired FBI employees who investigated the January 6th attack on Congress.
Attacking and undermining NATO and its principles.
Driving wedges between the US and its traditional allies.
Bowing to Putin's demands
Withdrawing funding from schools.
Destroying the economy.
Labeling people terrorists without showing evidence.
The Admin set aside charges against NYC Mayor Adams as a quid pro quo for his facilitating ICE action in NYC. Doing this is a clear message that justice has a price, one previously labeled as a bribe. Do not forget we are talking about a case of foreign influence over a mayor of America's biggest international city. This has international security ramifications.
Created crises in all departments including Social Security with threats to withhold SSI payments (old age pension and disability) based on flawed data.
After discovering information "justifying" cuts released by Elon and his boys was wrong, the policy shifted to not releasing the supporting information for the cuts.
Withdrawing funding from food banks.

Disappeared people who dared speak in accordance with their first amendment rights.
Created a Gold Visa program for people who pay $5 million to enter the US
Detaining foreign nationals crossing the border without cause and holding them in deplorable conditions for days and weeks on end.
Shut down the VOA.
Signed a law removing Due Process Rights for non citizens.
Fired Food and Safety Inspectors, slowing down food intake from other countries and within the US, forcing food to rot and some to go unchecked.
Withdrawing funding for life saving programs around the world which provide food and medicine to millions in need.
Allowing China to make inroads by removing positive American influence around the globe.
Eliminating State Department programs promoting cultural exchange.
Banning established press outlets and allowing others with no true experience outside social media influencer status into the White House Briefing Room.
Renaming the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America.
Threatening to make Canada the 51st state.
Threats to annex Greenland.
Threat to retake the Panama Canal
The Cabinet nominees and advisors are a disgrace worthy of multiple articles: a Russian sympathizer, a founder of the America First Policy Institute, a RWNJ Project 2025 author, an anti vaxxer, a snake oil salesman, an abettor of a sexual offender, and numerous persons with direct conflicts of interests.
