Cutting one's nose off...

The world could be burning to the ground around these idiots and they'd.....oh, wait. It was on fire, literally ON fire, when this monumental act of Trump administration stupidity happened:

Amidst a 3600 hectare (9500+acre) fire in Washington state, ICE showed up and demanded to see the firefighters identification. TWO of the workers employed by private fire fighting contractors were arrested. TWO, as in 1+1=2. TWO arrested. TWO!!

This ICE "investigation" took several hours so the entire group of firefighters was not available to assist in the firefighting efforts. THEN the two contractor groups, comprised of 42 firefighters, had their contracts revoked because of the TWO arrests, so there were 42 fewer people to fight the fire.

Jesus Fucking Christ on a stick! I would ask how much dumber can this administration get but, hey, if they can do this as the world burns around them, I think it's obvious they'll cut their own nose off to spite their face.

Republicans cancelled a Biden era equity program which provided federal transportation monies for street improvement and building projects to minority or lower income communities. Now the Republicans are whining about cancelled projects in their districts. Apparently everyone uses these roads which also divert traffic from over crowded roads elsewhere.
