Hell in the Bible Belt

Yes, that is a 118 heat index. Having been out there today, I can attest to the heat index. On the way to the labs we drove past a coffee house with an outdoor patio filled with people. Mad dogs, Englishmen, and stupid ass Southerners...

Part Infinity+2 of bloodwork for me today. Dropped off saliva swabs at the labs for more cortisol tests. I finally found a doctor who listened to me. When I was young I was a self-described adrenaline junkie. After days in high gear, I would utterly crash. Lately I have felt that crash all the time, just absolute exhaustion. I asked my PCP to have my adrenaline levels checked and he said no. 

When I had my regular endocrinologist appointment I discussed it with her and she ran a full panel. My ACTH levels came back high. There are some other tests outstanding but at least I have some answers and a direction to head in.
