On a separate note, C Kirk was killed today in Utah. If this country dissolves into Civil War citing this asshole's death as the starting point, then we are more seriously fucked up than I realized. Kirk was a white nationalist Christian who supported so many abhorrent ideas that for anyone to rally behind a flag in his name, or lower one to half mast in his memory, is truly repulsive. 

PREDICTION:

Meanwhile today more students were injured in gun violence at their school in Denver, CO. The Republican's standard response is to offer thoughts and prayers. I call it TP as in Toilet Paper because it serves the same purpose: a temporary response until the next time and there's always a next time. IOW, Same shit, different day. But this time, TP won't be enough for the Kirk killing. Trump 2.0 and his cadre will use Kirk's death as an excuse to implement some new policy, new crackdown.
