CVS called and said my new medicine is over $660. SIX HUNDRED+++dollars after the insurance has paid its portion. That's more than our car payment. That's almost the mortgage payment with escrow. Actually without escrow (taxes and insurance) tacked on, the medicine costs more than the basic mortgage payment of $525.00.  I just went through nearly a dozen blood tests to narrow down my illness and this was where I ended up. Two thousand dollars in lab work and a $600 a month prescription. I get to stay sick because I can't afford to be well.
