The Destruction of what makes America great

As images of the destruction of the east wing of the White House became public today, I realized it is emblematic of what Trump is doing to this country. He is uprooting traditions and standards. He is undermining our identity and our institutions. Trump is destroying what makes America great. 

Since January 20th, he has sought to destroy the foundations of American Civil Service. Acting in violation of the Hatch Act, his team has politicized departments once legally bound to reflect no one political party. He has closed decades old programs which spread good will across the globe and saved millions of lives. He has defunded programs and services which provide taxpayers with education, scientific break throughs, infrastructure monies, and numerous services. 

Trump and his supporters have vilified and demonized the opposing political party, its members, and its voters. The regime has routinely engaged in propaganda, creating AI generated images with voices to attack anyone who opposes him. They have engaged in strong arm tactics, spread numerous lies, and refused to negotiate at any stage.

Trump and his enablers have repeatedly attacked the rule of law, engaging in lawlessness. They have removed the rights to Habeas Corpus and Due Process of Law. The administration has detained American citizens without cause and filed trumped up charges. They have presented false testimony in court. Trump has used the Justice department for political purposes, attacking and arresting his enemies, and shaping policy which defies the US Constitution.

Truly, Trump is destroying what makes America great.
