Do you think they understand the irony?

Off duty officers are being stopped by ICE in the Minneapolis-St Paul (MSP) area. These officers are persons of color who are experiencing first hand ICE agents escalating in violence, overstepping their limits, and violating protections granted under the US Constitution.

MSP officers on duty, in uniform, have stood by and done little or nothing when they witness ICE mistreat people.

MSP officers have profiled people in the same way that ICE agents are acting.

MSP officers have also used extreme unwarranted deadly force against citizens.

MSP chiefs are saying that ICE claims only a small number of their agents are acting inappropriately. How many times have we heard from cops the excuse of a few bad apples?

MSP police departments can not get information about these errant ICE officers. They are coming up against a blue wall of silence. Sound familiar, Officer?

MSP officers are getting a taste of their own medicine. And yet this chief started this press conference repeating the same false rhetoric coming from the regime to excuse this inexcusable surge from ICE.

At what point will officers EVER wake up and stop playing judge, jury, and executioner and do their jobs: to protect and serve?

The reality is their identity is so wrapped up in being a cop, pushing people around, acting the part of bully, cosplaying as a hero in a video game, that they will not wake up to the hypocrisy, the bullshit, and utter cruelty even when it breaks down their front door.
